Throughout his professional career, Peter has conducted litigation on the interpretation of loan transaction documents for many borrowers. As part of this work he has conducted appeals in Courts of Appeal in various states as well as the High Court of Australia.
Costin works closely with Peter in respect of all the firms commercial litigation matters. Since the date of his admission, Costin has conducted property law disputes in various states such as New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland. These disputes involved taking steps to protect the position of clients, examining priority interests and enforceability and removal of caveats.
Costin has also advised a number of clients during the COVID-19 pandemic on commercial contracts that have been affected by the pandemic including the examination of force majeure clauses, providing legal advice on the law of frustration and the commencement of proceedings.
